FIREFIGHTERS
Welcome to the official FIREFIGHTERS website.
ABOUT FIREFIGHTERS
Here at FIREFIGHTERS, we all celebrate the passion of fighting fire with our bare fists. We strive to inform and share with others this passion and hobby that we all share.
In 1996, our founder, Mike McCalen, started FIREFIGHTERS as a way to unite fellow fist fighters of fire. Working in his local fire department, he came to realize his passion for using hand-to-hand combat to defeat fires. Since then, FIREFIGHTERS has become a network and community of over 100 members (and counting!) across the globe.
MEET THE TEAM
While FIREFIGHTERS has a worldwide community of over 100 members, our team of staff help make FIREFIGHTERS happen.
Mike McCalen
The founder and president of FIREFIGHTERS, Mike McCalen. Described as a family man, Mike values those close to him and welcomes those who would like to be. He has a wife and two kids, along with their dog Shepard, and resides in Idaho.
Mike has not provided a photograph, although we've asked him several times.
Marvin Buck
The vice president of FIREFIGHTERS, Marvin Buck. Marvin enjoys his hobbies of hunting, painting, taking strolls on the beach, and, of course, firefighting. Marvin met McCalen in college and helped him create FIREFIGHTERS. Marvin has a husband and resides in Idaho.
Angela Pinsley
Angela Pinsley is the main organizer of events for FIREFIGHTERS gatherings. Angela has a history of fire fist fighting long before FIREFIGHTERS, and is one of our most passionate members. Angela enjoys cooking, and often brings her dishes to gatherings, no matter if people like it or not. She resides in Maryland.
Angela has stated that she would like to promote her website, but we denied. Sorry, Angela.
Jordan Mills
This is me, Jordan Mills! I'm the main designer and social media manager at FIREFIGHTERS, meaning I also made this website. Not only do I like fist fighting fires, but I also specialize in SFX and video work. I currently live in Florida with my best friend.
